There is always something exciting about having an idea and making it real. And there is nothing more rewarding than acting on a passion.  In 2010 I set up Maggie Semple Limited (MSL) a business inspired by women, fashion and their stories. MSL has a number of strands of activity but what unites them all is that I know that every female, no matter what her age, has at least one favourite item that she cherishes and cannot throw away. I have quite a few items in my wardrobe and there is one that is 25 years old and I still wear it!  A classic shift sleeveless cotton dress that is simple yet elegant.

Before I set up the business I tested my idea and found that women have amazing stories attached to their clothes. It doesn’t matter if the clothing is new, not so new, bought, a gift, or inherited – there will always be a fascinating story attached to it.  During the last 2 years I have met thousands of women and will continue to do so on-line and at our events.
